See Local Art the james michener art museumIt isn't often that works of art are curated within the walls of a jail. Thanks to the efforts of celebrated author James Michener, a Doylestown native, the former Bucks County Jail is now a world-class museum. Stroll the exhibits and enjoy a collection of Pennsylvania Impressionist paintings and special exhibits. A sculpture garden, landscaped courtyard, museum shop and café round out the experience.

Hours -Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM - 4:30 PM; Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM; Sunday 12 PM - 5 PM.
